More than 1,000 Nepalis are stranded in Latin America trying to get into the United States.

Thousands of South Asian migrant workers are falling victim to people smugglers as they try to reach the US.
They pay thousands of dollars to make a difficult journey.
But most of them never make it to America. More than 1,000 Nepalis have been stranded in Latin America alone.
