Nepal Maoists move to revamp party
Ruling party struggles with a new ideology, exchanging communism for capitalism.

Nepal’s Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai says he will step down if opposition parties agree to create a unity government. The move would end a political deadlock with the opposition that has paralysed the country since last May.
But the Maoists are also struggling with a new ideology, as they exchange communism for capitalism.
Al Jazeera’s Subina Shrestha reports from the party’s first party convention in more than two decades.
