India’s finance minister is due to announce a new budget, and the country’s wealthy businessmen are worried they may lose out.
Many of the affluent are watching closely whether the government increases taxes on the rich in the budget due on Thursday.
India’s finance minister P. Chidumbrum says he plans to focus on economic revival by motivating business and industry.
The budget is being prepared against a backdrop of grim economic indicators.
