Makeover for Egyptian capital’s metro
Considered by many to be one of the only functional services in Cairo, metro set to see further upgrade.

Around 3.5 million people use Cairo’s metro everyday.
Work is under way on providing better services and developing a line which will take passengers to the airport, pleasing Egyptians who consider the transport to be one of the only functional services in the busy metropolis.
Al Jazeera’s Rawya Rageh reports from Cairo.
