Many Libyans remain displaced by war

Tens of thousands still unable to return home, including all resident of northeastern town of Tawergha.

Tens of thousands of people who had to leave their homes during Libya’s revolution in 2011 are still unable to return.

The entire population of the northeastern town of Tawergha fled as opposition fighters moved in.

Many locals were accused of siding with deposed leader Muammar Gaddafi during attacks on the city of Misrata.
