South Africans set to bid Mandela farewell

Tributes being paid around the world, with anti-apartheid icon’s official memorial service scheduled for December 10.

His remains will then lie in state at the seat of government in Pretoria for three days. But even before then, South Africans will have the chance to remember the man who changed their country forever.
