South Africans celebrate life of Mandela

South Africans pay tribute to and remember the man who led them out of white-only rule.

Tributes are being paid and prayers said for South Africa’s anti-apartheid icon. The country’s first black president died at his Johannesburg home on Thursday at age 95.

South African President Jacob Zuma addressed the country to reveal details of funeral arrangements.
