Uganda civil war victims laid to rest

Many human remains being buried by loved ones with the dignity not possible during country’s long conflict.

An estimated 100,000 people were killed during Uganda’s long civil war. The rebel Lord’s Resistance Army was notorious for targeting civilians. The group was chased out of the African country years ago, but many human remains are only now being laid to rest.
