Iran considers changing capital city

Iran is considering to shift the seat of government from its rapidly growing capital city.
Severe pollution and choking traffic is making life increasingly miserable in Tehran. Poor air quality this week shut down primary schools and forced the elderly to stay indoors.
But decentralisation, including moving the capital, is not a new idea. In fact, it was a focus of the previous government of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
