Indonesians thirsty for clean drinking water

Government aims to supply clean tap water to all Indonesians by 2020, giving hope to more than 100 million people.

Nearly half of all Indonesians – more than 100 million people – have no access to clean water.

For those fortunate enough to have it on tap, it is not fit to drink. And their water bills are still some of the highest in Asia.

For the rest, buying bottles is a major expense.
