Egypt jails teenager for ‘defaming military’

Government claims 15-year-old boy carried materials calling the overthrow of President Morsi a “coup”.

Protests have continued in Egypt ever since President Mohamed Morsi was ousted in July, with dozens arrested in connection with the demonstrations.

Now, one teenager has been jailed – because of a plastic ruler.
