Laos activist’s disappearance still unsolved

Security video of activist Sombath Somphone, who disappeared a year ago, suggests government may have been involved.

It’s been a year since a prominent community worker disappeared in Communist-ruled Laos. Security video which captured Sombath Somphone’s abduction last year suggests the government may have been involved.

The US and the European Parliament have expressed concerns.
