Mass looting prompts debate in Argentina

Country tries to come to terms with several days of looting and killings that followed provincial police strike.

There have been several days of looting in parts of Argentina, leaving at least twelve people dead.

The violence began when police went on strike, giving criminal gangs easier access to homes and shops.

The authorities managed to restore order, but few believe the problem is solved.

Al Jazeera’s Daniel Schweimler reports from the northern province of Tucuman, one of the worst hit areas.
