Calls for reforms in India’s cashew industry

Those working in the poorest conditions suffer from back and knee pain, sustained from years of bad posture.

More than half the world’s cashew nuts are processed in India.

But it’s a back-breaking job for those working in the poorest conditions. Now, there are calls for reforms to be instituted to protect workers’ rights to a safe working environment.
