Kurdish pipeline deal could cause tensions

New oil pipeline deal between Kurdish region and Turkey could change power dynamics in region.

A new deal could lead to oil flowing from the Kurdish region of northern Iraq into Turkey through new pipelines, according to the region’s prime minister.

The idea, however has caused a serious rift with Baghdad, which says it has the sole right to control sales of oil and gas on Iraqi territory creating a change in power balances.
