South Africa scrambles to sign up new voters
New generation voters being sought as less than 10 percent of people born since end of apartheid are registered.

South Africa is in a nationwide scramble to sign up a new generation of voters: the so-called born frees.
But many of those born the year Nelson Mandela became the first black president aren’t interested in politics.
Less than 10 percent of people born since the end of apartheid are currently registered for an election that will mark 20 years of democracy.
Al Jazeera’s Tania Page reports from Johannesburg.
