Venezuela tries to shore up economy

Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro has been in office for just six months, but the food shortages, the power cuts and the sinking economy he inherited have not improved.

Maduro says the country is being sabotaged and has introduced a series of measures to counter what he calls economic sabotage.
