New Syrian migration programme takes flight

Charter planes will fly 5,000 Syrians to Germany, the first country to take part in massive relocation programme.

Germany is offering 5,000 Syrian refugees temporary resettlement for two years.

It is the first European nation to take in a large group under a programme that would take a year and 25 charter flights to complete.
