Mexico hails cut in city’s crime rate

Mexico’s president is trying to convince the world his government is making progress against drug-related violence.

Monterrey has been singled out as one place where crime is down – with the muder rate cut by half.

But media there say they’re being censored and accuse the government of manipulating statistics.
