More than 40,000 runners are preparing to compete in Sunday’s New York marathon, making it the world’s largest marathon.
There is more anticipation than usual, after Hurricane Sandy forced the cancellation of last year’s race.
The unexpected break has hurt hundreds of charities, who get millions in donations associated with the race.
