Iranians react as sanctions suspended
Iran’s nuclear negotiators hailed as “Ambassadors of Peace” as they return home with a deal that lifts some sanctions

A new deal between Iran and world powers is one many hope will be an important step in resolving a decade-old standoff.
Hundreds of cheering supporters greeted Iran’s nuclear negotiators calling them “Ambassadors of Peace” as they arrived back in Tehran late on Sunday night.
Tehran has agreed to a six-month pause of its nuclear ambitions while diplomats continued talks.
The new deal will ease about $7bn of the economic sanctions that have been crippling the Islamic Republic.
For some, the sanctions have been a part of daily life for decades, and lifting them is seen as too little too late from the US.
