Belfast blast victims’ families want justice

Relatives of 15 people killed more than 40 years ago say they want those they believe responsible brought to justice.

The findings of an investigation into the 1971 bombing of a Cathloic Belfast pub, which killed 15, are due to be released in Northern Ireland.

But relatives of the victims say they have been told there may not be the political will to prosecute those believed to be responsible. The relatives say they want action, 40 years on from the attack.

More than 3500 people were killed during three decades of fighting between republicans and those loyal to the UK.

Al Jazeera’s Laurence Lee reports from Belfast.
