Scotland grapples with cry for freedom
Many English think economy is better off without Scotland as Scots are yet to be convinced on benefits of walking alone.

The Scottish government is expected to put forward a document outlining why its people should vote in favour of breaking away from the United Kingdom.
A large percentage of English people believe that the economy of the UK would be better off without Scotland.
However, Scottish citizens are yet to be convinced by their government on the benefits of independence. A referendum is due to be held in 2014.
What would an independent Scotland mean to the English people? Al Jazeera‘s Laurence Lee travelled from the southern coast of England to the Scottish border to find out.
