Mozambique unrest hits much-needed tourism

Businesses fear rising tensions will keep tourists away from their country, which is largely dependent on tourism money.

Two million people visit Mozambique on holiday each year, making the income crucial to the country’s economy.

But businesses fear rising tensions between Mozambique’s former rebel group Renamo and the government could hurt that income.
