Rich-poor gap angers Chilean students

Protests against uneven distribution of wealth spread to rest of society as South American country goes to the polls.

Leading up to Saturday’s general elections, students were just one of several disgruntled sectors of society, angry that Chile, despite its huge riches, ranks among the worst in the world for distribution of wealth. They are upset over the growing gap between the rich and the rest.
