About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners are currently held in Israeli prisons. But adult relatives of more than a third of these prisoners do not receive permits to visit their loved ones.
That means often only detainees’ children are allowed into the prisons, and they must make the day-long trip alone.
Al Jazeera’s Nisreen El-Shamayleh reports from one of those trips.
