UN to rule on Thai-Cambodia temple dispute

UN court set to decide who owns land around ancient Preah Vihear Hindu temple, ending 100 year dispute.

The people of Thailand and Cambodia are awaiting a United Nations court ruling that will end a 100-year, often violent, dispute over who owns the 4.6km of land around an 11th century Hindu temple.

The Preah Vihear temple, a World Heritage site, is a source of pride for both countries.
