Counterfeit Afghan election cards discovered

Al Jazeera finds fake voter cards, like in 2009, weeks before presidential election.

Voters in Afghanistan are going to the polls to decide Hamid Karzai’s successor in April.

Al Jazeera has uncovered evidence that suggests next year’s presidential election could already be compromised. 

There are concerns that people are able to buy more than one voting card.
