Khmer Rouge victims struggle with trauma

Three decades after one of the 20th century’s worst mass killings, Cambodians are left to deal with their ordeal alone.

More than three decades after the fall of the Khmer Rouge regime, research suggests that one in seven Cambodian adults suffers from some form of post-traumatic stress disorder.

The regime was responsible for one of the worst mass killings of the 20h century. But many of its victims are still left to deal with their ordeal alone.
