Philippines struggles to help quake victims

Earthquake survivors in the Philippines say they have had no help to alleviate their suffering, despite government assurances.

In Maribojoc, Mayor Jun Embasco says that they are on their own as they try to find ways to address their needs.

The government has defended a visit by its President to South Korea this week, saying he is working on an economic deal that can help secure the country’s future.
