Scientists closer to Alzheimer’s cure
Researchers say they have made initial breakthroughs in search for drugs to resist brain disorders.

British scientists say they are a step closer to developing a drug that could prevent brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
The experimental research was undertaken on mice at the University of Leicester, and focused on rogue proteins, which develop on the brain.
But it is likely to be up to 10 years before any trials are conducted on humans.
