Senegalese losing sight to trachoma

Contagious disease that mainly affects communities without access to clean water is preventable.

The highly contagious condition, passed by skin to skin contact and also by flies, is treatable if caught early enough.

Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque travelled to Senegal’s worst affected region.
