Sudan’s government has released all women detained during protests last month.

Hundreds of people were arrested after they took to the streets calling for a change in government.

Demonstrations began when President Omar al-Bashir decided to cut fuel subsidies, and quickly turned violent after a police crackdown.

Rights groups say more than 200 people were killed, while the government says only a fraction of that number were hurt.
