Twitter asked to reveal anti-Semitic users

Jewish students in France want names of users posting anti-Semitic tweets released to enable prosecution.

A group of Jewish students in France is taking on one of the giants of the internet – Twitter.

They want the micro-blogging site to reveal the names of people who post anti-Semitic tweets so they can be prosecuted for hate crimes.

But as both sides appeared in a Paris courtroom on Tuesday, Twitter said it could not hand over data without permission from US authorities.
