Chavez celebrated on streets of Caracas

Artists honour Hugo Chavez through street art in a bid to preserve his legacy.

It has been four weeks since the ailing Hugo Chavez was last seen in Venezuela, but his presence can still be felt on the streets of the capital, Caracas.

Street artists have been painting murals of Chavez and honouring Venezuela’s revolution by sketching a myriad of artworks across the city.

The young artists say it is an opportunity to his legacy.
