Severe winter weather hits Northern India
The severest winter weather in more than 40 years has hit much of the region.

More than 100 people are known to have died in one of the coldest winters across northern India in many years.
On 2 January temperatures in New Delhi reached just 9.8 Celsius, the lowest maximum temperature in the capital in 44 years.
The situation has been made worse by dense fog which has also grounded many flights across the region.
