Israeli nets profits with desert fish farm
Innovator breeds tropical fish in Negev desert, exporting $500,000 worth of fish to Europe each month.

The desert might seem like the worst place to breed tropical fish, but Israel is trying to turn unproductive land into places that make money.
Gidon Blum, an Israeli entrepreneur, is now selling half a million dollars of fish to Europe each month; the challenge was doing it in the Negev desert.
