Damascus rebels focus on strategic strikes

Outgunned fighters near capital are unfazed by danger, but must plan each attack as carefully as possible.

Opposition activists are reporting government attacks in several suburbs of Damascus.

Rebels there, however, seem unfazed by the constant shelling. They are encouraged by the territorial gains they have made in recent weeks.

Fighters may be heavily outgunned in their fight against President Bashar al-Assad’s army, but they plan each attack as intricately as possible.
