Winter compounds hardship for Syrian refugees

Aid agencies seek to provide warmth and food for thousands suffering harsh temperatures in Turkish camps.

The worst storms in a decade have passed, but for many Syrian refugees living in camps along the borders the weather remains bitterly cold.

In Turkey, temperatures are falling below zero at night but aid agencies there are credited with offering better services than most.

Al Jazeera’s Hashem Ahelbarra reports from the Kilis refugee camp on the Turkish border with Syria.
