Syrian opposition fighters have seized Taftanaz airbase, the largest in northern Syria, after several days of fierce combat.
Al-Nusra Front and other anti-government groups captured the buildings, ammunition and military equipment in the sprawling military base in Idlib province on Friday.
In this exclusive report, Al Jazeera’s Sue Turton speaks to the commander of the operation shortly after the airbase was seized.
