Pleas for help months after Pakistan fire

Many families still wait for compensation money promised by government after factory blaze that killed 259.

It has been more than six months since 259 people were killed in a garment factory fire in the Pakistani city of Karachi.

The government has promised to prosecute those who are responsible, and pay compensation to victims’ families.

But many families, who survived the country’s worst industrial accident, are still waiting the money from government.
