Cambodia force targets wildlife trafficking

A newly created task force aims to fight what has become multi-billion-dollar business in Southeast Asia.

Trafficking wildlife is an international, multibillion-dollar business and Southeast Asia has one of the biggest markets for illegal game, pushing many species towards extinction.

However, a task force in Cambodia is hoping to reverse that trend.

Al Jazeera’s Scott Heidler went on a rescue mission with the task force and filed this report.
