UK painter brushes up against political graft

Artist Kaya Mar presents his insightful and sometimes rude paintings to satirised subjects in person.

They are insightful, cheeky and sometimes simply rude, but a British artist says his paintings highlight political corruption.

Painter Kaya Mar even takes the unconventional approach of displaying his works outside seats of power.

What is unusual about Mar’s satirical approach is that he takes his work to where the politicians and media are, to keep them honest.

He can be found at parliament, pronouncing on the government’s economic policies, or outside the Royal Courts of Justice.
