Syrians seek refuge in countryside
Families flee urban areas as violence in 18-month uprising against the Syrian government continues.

Thousands of Syrians who have fled urban areas have aimed for relative safety in the countryside.
While the United Nations continues to discuss possible solutions for the internally displaced, the people of al-Riqqa offer them what little they have.
Season after season has gone by, and still the war rages on. The lucky few find work in the fields in these countryside villages, but still they struggle to feed their families.
Al Jazeera’s Jamal Elshayyal reports.
