As the war rages, human rights groups are documenting atrocities on both sides of the Syrian conflict.
There are reports of Syrian government forces abusing prisoners, while the Free Syrian army is also accused of beating and mistreating captives it says have sided with the government in the ongoing conflict.
Al Jazeera’s Sue Turton is in Salma, in the western mountains and has more on the crimes being committed.
