Stolen artefacts returned to Kabul

The artefacts, some more than 4,000 years old, had been smuggled out of Afghanistan during 1990s civil war.

The National Museum in Kabul has taken possession of hundreds of ancient artefacts from Britain.

Looters smuggled out many of them during Afghanistan’s bloody civil war of the early 1990s.

Some of the items date back more than 4,000 years.
