West Bank drugs firm hit by Israeli curbs
Pharmacare sells products to the EU but cannot do business in its neighbourhood due to Israel’s restrictions.

Pharmacists in occupied East Jerusalem have had their medicines confiscated by the Israeli government.
Pharmacare ships to the EU – including Germany, Belgium and Spain, but now it is having problems selling its medication to locations just 30 minutes down the road.
Some have also had to pay fines for selling products made in the Palestinian Territories. The Israeli Ministry of Health says the products do not meet their standards.
