Syrian rebels getting smuggled Jordanian aid
As conflict rages in Syria, doctors have been increasingly relying on smuggled medical supplies from Jordan.

Goods have been smuggled across Jordan’s border with Syria for decades. With the violent uprising in Syria, however, those smuggled goods have begun to take on a whole new level of importance.
In a very real sense, the smuggling trade, from Jordan and elsewhere, now sustains the opposition.
One of the main categories of smuggled goods is medical supplies. Doctors in Jordan have been sorting through supplies and facilitating their passage into Syria.
