Typhoon Tembin has now cleared the southern shores of Taiwan after delivering winds of over 200 kph and rainfall of up to400mm. Fortunately advanced warning and thorough preparation by emergency services ensured that no loss of life was reported.
However, Tembin may not have finished with Taiwan. As it moves into the South China Sea, there a possibility that it will re-curve back towards the island bringing further torrential rain.
