India has said that it would issue long-term visas to Pakistani Hindu migrants who allegedly suffered from persecution back home.

Many Hindus who arrived in India last week say they have faced increased discrimination in Pakistan, a predominantly Muslim country, for their religious beliefs. 

Islamabad says it is cracking down on reported attacks on the minority group.
